the 7 minute Workout!

It’s just 2 seconds of me doing the sit-ups part, but I was excited about it.

How to Make Chickpeas in the CrockPot and 10 random things

1. My hair got crazy tangled on Catalina Island and probably on the boat ride back yesterday. This morning my normal runner braids were crazy ratty.

2. I’m ecstatic about eating everything in the form of Red, White and Blue foods for the next week. I’m a situational dresser and apparently I’m a situational eater Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Países Bajos too!

3. I made trail mix for Catalina, or as my lil brother calls it – M&Ms Camiseta RB Leipzig with obstacles.

4. I don’t know what kind of melon this is – but I got it from the 99 cent store and it was delicious. I think it’s a golden melon, but I’m not sure.

5. I ate one of the ingredients from my most current Blue Apron delivery before making the meal! So busted. I Camiseta Boca Juniors replaced it, but still I feel like I must be embarrassed.

6. I went to Costco today and this quesadilla sample is the best part of my day so far!

7. A few people have asked if I really like the Squatty Potty.

Yes. I do. I’m a fan.

Fun fact: The company contacted me a few years ago to potentially review the Squatty Potty and I turned it down. I thought it was weird. but considering that going to China I really think that’s the way to go. Literally.

8. I really was hoping I could use this seasoning instead of Trader Joe’s everything Bagel seasoning. I love the everything Bagel stuff but I already use a lot of salt in my food and don’t want to start using this a lot (which is what would happen because I don’t do moderation). It’s good but not as good but I’m starting to get used to it.

9. I’m still taking care of the Moth ball situation of 2017.

I for sure made myself sick from them and am still washing everything in vinegar to get the smell out and then washing it regular style. I was taking a photo of my spark and the blankets in the background when vegas photo-bombed. I love when he does that.

10. I’m not incredibly into any reality show in particular ideal now but southern charm is on as I’m writing this because I allow myself to turn on the TV after 5pm PST. Every now and then I’ll get incredibly into a show, but I’m just whatever about all of them. I do like the southern charm Savannah people too so I enjoy that one often too.

But I’ve started to enjoy mad men so we’ll see how that goes!

 

Making Chickpeas in the CrockPot

I enjoyed What the health last week. I didn’t love it and have some conflicting thoughts on it. but I do think it’s very crucial to eat well to feel good. I want to get back into eating a lot more plant protein instead of animal protein so I made a enormous amount of chickpeas!

Step 1: Rinse chickpeas and check for any debris or rocks. Then, soak them overnight.

Step 2: Rinse and drain them in the morning. Then, put them in the crockpot. Cover them with water and add onion and garlic cloves.

Step 3: cook on low for about 4-5 hours. cook them to your preferred texture. final cooking time depends on your preferences.

I like them firm for regular eating and softer if I’m making hummus.

Step 4: once they’re done – strain them and season with salt and pepper. set aside to amazing and store in the fridge.

This set me up for a delicious lunch!

I’m a fan of making beans in the crockpot! It’s so much much easier than enjoying it on the stove.

Now I need to make hummus or chickpea salad or falafel! I’ll probably just eat them all straight though – I really love chickpeas. A lot.

Me: I think quinoa with chickpeas and a package of frozen veggies. It needs hummus though!

Orange Foods – Pumpkin Oats

My mother stated when I was bit I utilized to like all orange foods…sweet potatoes, carrots as well as pumpkin! Well, I haven’t altered whatsoever in this aspect!

Too poor my mother didn’t understand about pumpkin oats when I was a youngster – I would have gobbled it up! In the bowl: 1/3c oats, water, soy milk, vanilla, stevia, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin as well as chia seeds. I added some brown sugar after the pic. I’m curious exactly how this bowl is going to keep me full because I didn’t add any type of nut butter. We’ll see.

hey there and delighted Wednesday! I started my day with an easy 4.5 mile run. I’m trying to baby it considering that I start Marathon training next week!

CATastrophe

Vegas is not friendly to other cats (not even my mom’s kitten) so it’s truly strange that he doesn’t try to fight. perhaps they’re boyfriend/girlfriend?

The catastrophe didn’t stop there – around 3am Ben as well as I woke as much as a loud feline fight outside our window. (Vegas was inside.) I did it! I ran the Boston Marathon!! The whole marathon weekend has been amazing. Chilly Mornings + Not sufficient sleep = Ear Covers as well as great deals o’ iced coffee!

On the method house from camp I chose I desired much more cinnamon raisin toast for breakfast. I cannot get enough! I chose to stop on the method house for a loaf of Bagel Thins.

But, this got me thinking… When I hung out with my good friend Susan just recently we stopped at the grocery store for a snack she stated she never has bread at home.

I believed this was so strange because I always have bread as well as eat it in some cases 2-3 times day. I’ve let myself run out of bread when because then as well as didn’t die (it was quite close though). as well as that bit experiment made me recognize exactly how much bread I eat! I eat PB&J toast before runs, bread with breakfast, egg sandwiches, garlic cheese bread…you get the idea.

I’m not trying to cut out bread since I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with it. like my preferred Sh!t people tell their fitness instructors video said, “People have been eating bread for centuries!” however I am going to try as well as choose a bigger range of whole grains for carb-age.Woman cannot online on bread alone, right?

I utilized my Cinnamon Bagels to make french toast. Dip it in some egg whites, dust with cinnamon as well as chia seeds, cook. topped with PB & syrup.

Okay, I ought to get in a quick run since I have a stack ‘o emails as well as clients this afternoon.

It was overcast all weekend and today the sun makes a decision to bust out and shine on me for my walk. The cam doesn’t do my sweaty forehead justice.

I made a pit stop on the way home because we were out of lettuce. I scored 4 manager’s specials on produce! I know we all love a sale, but a sale on food is that much better!

Tips for scoring Manager’s Specials:

Shop in the early part of the Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Marruecos day. I normally only find them between 10am and 1pm.

Go to where your store keeps these sale items first thing. (Because there are Camiseta Bologna FC 1909 20 little old ladies who are going to get to them first if you don’t.)

Check the expiration dates. (If you care about that sort of thing. I like to live dangerously and will eat generally anything.)

Be ready to change your weekly meal plan / shopping list. Luckily, I don’t make one very typically so I just use up my sale finds asap.

I used my salad and pico de gallo for lunch! Salad with chicken, peanut dressing, cashews and veggies.

I considered putting my watermelon in a separate plate, but that’s just silly.
