Hello! I just ran the Tinkerbell half Marathon at Disneyland and am still flying high from all the fun! here is my quick lil recap…

First, my best friend is a mommy and wanted to hang out for Camiseta Sevilla FC Mother’s Day. So, she headed to my place last night and we did dinner and drinks.

We also made strawberry jello shots – in a strawberry. YES.

And stayed out way way too late. Midnight munchies called for Taco Bell. So, I was eating Taco Bell at 12am the night before a half marathon with a 3:30am wake up call. NOT fine Monican, you’re grounded.

Then, I very very reluctantly set my alarm and got ready for bed.

I woke up a few minutes before my alarm because I was so nervous about missing it! and I put on my Tinkerbell Running Costume. I really scored with this costume – it was incredibly easy to throw together (more on that soon).

Getting to Disneyland and the Mickey and friends parking structure was pretty easy – no traffic on the freeway, traffic but no overflow on the streets.

Boo = parking was $$$

Pre-race: plenty of porta-potties at different locations. A lot of volunteers trying to keep it organized. Corrals were clearly marked.

Race: love the course. We ran into California adventure and then into Disneyland. one of the highlights is Camiseta Sport Club Internacional always running down main street to the Castle.

It is magical.

Boo = The 5:30am start ‘beats the heat’ but is incredibly super early.

I wanted to take pictures with the characters but there weren’t a lot of them. I did stop at the castle and with Chip and Dale but for some reason the cast member that took my Chip and Dale photo didn’t click the ideal thing and I don’t have one.

I don’t judge them though because I pressed something odd on my phone and inadvertently put it in Black and White mode!

There weren’t a lot of spectators outside of the parks and downtown Disney. but I feel like Run Disney Camiseta Sporting CP runners are so delighted and social it was fine. people made friends, took pictures and took pleasure in the race.

This “Free Hook Bumps” sign was pretty fun!

And this is absolutely my favorite.

Overall: I love Run Disney races. Love. They really are fun and magical. It seems like the majority of runners are out there just to have fun and take pleasure in it. It’s well organized and a good time. The end.

Post race pancakes and tons of coffee.

Transcend capital Advisors announced yesterday a multi-year name, image, and likeness (NIL) partnership with 18-year-old amateur golfer Caleb Surratt, currently ranked #29 in the world Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR). Surratt has had seven straight top-ten finishes in amateur events this year and was previously the number-one ranked junior golfer in the world, according to the GolfWeek/Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings. A recent high school graduate, Surratt will continue his golf occupation at the university of Tennessee.

“Transcend believes that investing in the growth and success of top-level junior golfers is a way to impact the futures of these athletes,” said Brian Gorczynski, Managing Partner. “With new NIL opportunities afforded to amateur athletes, our firm is ecstatic to take a leadership role in this changing climate and to support a rising star like Caleb.”

A citizen of Indian Trail, North Carolina, Surratt is a ROLEX Junior All-American and qualified for the U.S. Junior Ryder cup team in 2021. He has compiled many victories over the course of his amateur career. In May, he became the first back-to-back winner of the Terra Cotta Invitational, a 54-hole stroke play event combining juniors, mid-amateurs, and college players. earlier this year, Surratt won the prestigious 2022 Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club.

He also had a banner year in 2021, winning the Junior PGA Championship, the Bobby Chapman Junior Invitational, and the Western Junior, where he joined a list of past champions that includes Jim Furyk, Collin Morikawa, and Rickie Fowler.

“I am grateful to Transcend for believing in my potential and for easing my future path in the game of golf,” said Surratt. “I have had such a terrific summer so far and anticipate the Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Portugal coming months will be equally fulfilling. The financial help of partners allows me to maintain focus on my game and my schoolwork.”

Surratt has played remarkably well for the past 12 months and is the current points leader of the Elite Amateur Golf series (EAGS), an alliance of the seven “Majors of Amateur Golf”: Sunnehanna Amateur, Northeast Amateur, North & South Amateur, Trans-Miss Amateur, southern Amateur, and recently completed Pacific coast Amateur, where he finished tied for second place. The final event, the Western Amateur, will be contested in early August. The top five points winners earn exemptions into USGA, PGA TOUR, and Korn Ferry excursion events.

He is competing this week in the U.S. Junior Amateur championship at Bandon Dunes and will be in the field at the upcoming U.S. Amateur championship (Aug. 15-21) at Ridgewood and Arcola country Clubs in Paramus, new Jersey. The university of Tennessee men’s golf season opens on September 9.

Last month, Transcend signed a multi-year name, image, Camiseta Wolverhampton Wanderers Camiseta Sport Club Internacional and likeness (NIL) partnership with 19-year-old amateur golfer Benjamin James, currently the number-one ranked boys’ junior golfer in the country according to both the American Junior Golf association (AJGA) rankings and the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings.
